to all my researchers, students and people in general who love learning: if you don't know this already, i'm about to give you a game changer
connectedpapers
the basic rundown is: you use the search bar to enter a topic, scientific paper name or DOI. the website then offers you a list of papers on the topic, and you choose the one you're looking for/most relevant one. from here, it makes a tree diagram of related papers that are clustered based on topic relatability and colour-coded by time they were produced!
for example: here i search "human B12"
i go ahead and choose the first paper, meaning my graph will be based around it and start from the topics of "b12 levels" and "fraility syndrome"
here is the graph output! you can scroll through all the papers included on the left, and clicking on each one shows you it's position on the chart + will pull up details on the paper on the right hand column (title, authors, citations, abstract/summary and links where the paper can be found)
you get a few free graphs a month before you have to sign up, and i think the free version gives you up to 5 a month. there are paid versions but it really depends how often you need to use this kinda thing.

The Fandom:
Being part of a small fandom of a non-mainstream foreign show and watching it grow into an international phenomenal is so so rewarding.
I don't wanna gatekeep Young Royals. I want both the show and Edvin-Omar to reach the height of fame and love. I want them to get more international projects. I want Young Royals to get like 10 more seasons (given the story stays good) if possible. I want it all. But I also want everyone to know I was here first.
I watch so many stuffs from so many countries. I am a fan of so many big franchises and I watch Fallon almost regularly. And yet this is the most emotional I have felt for the success of a show. And this is the first time I felt that being on Fallon is such a big thing. I'm so proud of Young Royals team and our little fandom. I'm just gonna go cry in the corner now.
when i first watched it, s2 didn't impress me the same way s1 did. but after rewatching i realized that is the point. every scene that draws a parallel acts as a refusal in some way. little moments like simon saying he has to go at the party, but wilhelm doesn't chase after him like he did in s1. or that wilhelm hears simon singing in the music room, but in s2 he turns around and walks away. or marcus asks the names of the fish and simon doesn't tell him like he told wilhelm. or where wilhelm politely said no as the room chanted for him to get on the table in s1, he stands up and shouts back in s2. there were so many expectations for this season, and it takes every moment it gets to demonstrate that the past is not repeating. it is being challenged. tradition, from the royal family to hillerska to the expectations set up by s1, all of it is questioned and all of it is changed just like wilhelm begins speaking the words of a script only to fold it up and choose speaking in his voice in his own time instead
Wilmon and hands season 2
I love how they kept the focus on Wilmon and hands in season 2.
Even if they had a lot less really intimate scenes and much more focus on their separate development, them touching and holding hands remained a focal point in season 2.
Even in Wille's dream it's a prominent and important aspect of the intimacy they share. To touch and be touched is so important for Wille.
And it's one of the last thing he dreams of before waking up - holding Simon's hand tenderly.
Then their hands touch by accident (or was it an accident) and you can basically feel the charge that runs through them.
How many memories run through their heads before Simon pulls away. Because Simon is hurting and he's realising just how hard it is to be near Wille. How much it will hurt and how much he can't ignore the pain.
So he pulls away because he's protecting himself and his heart. And then after this he asks Wille for space.
And I think this moment is so much more powerful because of the distance between them through season 2.
Even though Simon has pushed him away before, Wille is still reaching out.
There's a bit of hesitation but at the same time he feels assertive. As if he knows that there's hope for them now.
But he's slow and careful so that Simon has the chance to pull away if he oversteps his boundaries . It's still on Simon's terms but even if it is Wille is still managing to show Simon what he wants.
And this time Simon is not pulling away at all.
It's such a beautiful moment where they are both trying to figure out what will happen to then. They are bringing comfort to each other again. They are trying to be on the same page even if it's difficult because Simon needs to go to the police to bring himself justice and for Wille that has huge consequences.
He'll have to give up on the freedom he's just realised he will be able to have.
It should feel hopeless, it should drive them apart even more.
But it doesn't at all. Because they are being honest and communicating with eachother and most of all. They understand eachother and listen to eachother.
It feels like they feel hope for the first time in months. Both of them.
And then we have their final moment together. Such a beautiful scene.
They hold eachothers hand, they comfort eachother, they are on the same page and Simon most definitely helps Wille be brave. Even if they are litterally ten meters away from everyone else in a wide open corridor they are not afraid to be affectionate and show their love.
It's such a beautiful and tender moment for them.
The more I think and a analyse this season the more I fall in love with it!
shoutout to the choir teacher who probably knew exactly who simon's song was about and went "add a 'hillerska' at the end so people think you're singing about the school" and literally the only time that worked was on the boy the song's actually about
“It’s kind of hard to tell them apart… But one of them is called Olle… the other one is called Oski. And… the third one is called… Felle.”
news flash @ people who still think harry only likes women: this happened

I DID THE PROBABILITY THEORY. I'm so glad that I did it
Started a new marathon. I suppose it could be translated as the hell week¿ It didn't affect on my day a lot, but topics are interesting
In the nearest day I need to pass my physics and write 8 lectures for it, err
Wish me luck
Have a good day
Day 7

I'm so proud of it. I really happy that had the opportunity to see that kind of the author, so my next step is to see the movie. What is more, I'm going to start the next book called The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat
