Just finished rewatching Serial Experiments Lain. Its probably been about 13 years. I really enjoyed it the second time around. I understood (as much as one can I suppose) far better this time around. In fact, it left me with a lot of thoughts swimming around. Thoughts about personhood, self identity, perception of self vs, how others see you. It also got me thinking about God and who or what that means and/or looks like to people. It’s an intelligent, advant garde anime I recommend you plan on watching twice.
