I rarely post, but I need a rant.
You know whatās hard?? Living in a house with your boyfriend, his parents, his younger brother, and his brothers girlfriend. Harder than that? Struggling to pay your bills even though both you and your boyfriend have jobs. Now donāt get me wrong. I am working part time. But itās at $15/hr. And my boyfriend is on commission pay. He works so hard to make as much as he can. Still. We canāt afford to move out of his parents house. Between my student loans(that I canāt pay) and how much apartments cost in Tampa we donāt see us moving out for another 6 months to a year. Which is really frustrating. Itās not that I donāt like his family, itās just that we need our own space. I think anyone could sympathize with that. But what is really frustrating. Is seeing his younger brother and his young girlfriend doing even better than us. They are out looking at apartments. And getting new cars. And new tech. And they arenāt in debt. And itās frustrating to see two people who donāt have college degrees making more money than us. Itās not that Iām not happy for them. Itās just frustrating.
