UPDATE!

I HAVE MISSED YOU GUYS SO FREAKING MUCH, YOU DON’T EVEN UNDERSTAND. This has quite honestly been one of the worst semesters that I have been put through thus far, accompanied by lots of person drama and all that jazz. But thankfully, Finals are in two weeks which means hella more activity from yours truly ! If anyone wants to begin plots or anything, please let me know or like this post,  as well as add me on kik or skype maybe? I also wanted to say how sorry I am to those who have had threads with me in the past and I haven’t gotten to those replies. If you would like to keep those going, definitely definitely definitely let me know so I can draft them and get to them asap!

Hey guys! Just wanted to give y’all little update. I’ve been a pretty busy /stressed lately with work and getting ready for the new semester starting tomorrow. Until then, i’m keeping her alive and safe, so yeah, a little respect might be nice.” Ruby almost laughed at the girl taking her words literally, “Not an actual lease, Madame Trigger happy. Oh but Laurel would. Can you really blame the poor broad after the hell she went through? Trust me, i’ve lived and breathed hell and her life comes pretty damn close.”

“What are you staring at?” he exclaimed, not really mean to sound as aggressive as he did whilst he ruffled his hair slightly, fixing his very rarely worn coat with a small smile as he looked up at the figure in front of him. A figure who had probably had their eyes on the brunette for quite some time now, whether that was on purpose or not would be another story.

Ruby smirked slightly as she was caught staring, almost finding him calling her out amusing. The demon had been curious about him for some time, but still wasn’t sure how to best approach the situation before now. Leaning forward slightly, she shrugged, “You. Because you’re tall. I love a tall man.”

“If you think I’m just going to roll over and help you, you’ve lost whatever reasonable mind you had to begin with.” Sam stated, waving the other off in a dismissive way. He couldn’t trust this girl, she was a demon for god sakes. He may not always make the right choice, but trusting a demon was way beyond him. He knew nothing good could come from siding with her. It would only bring him more heartache.

“I suggest you go find a hunter that is willing to help you, I’ve got bigger problems to worry about than a little spat between demons.” He stated.

Ruby let out a dark laugh, amused by Sam’s bravado. “Most demon’s never start off with much sense, kind of what Hell works out of you,” she commented nonchalantly as she listened to him go on and on about his self righteousness.  “Look, don’t be such a racist. Just because i’m a demon doesn’t mean I can’t be useful.” 

Ruby folded her arms, growing annoyed at how he kept trying to dismiss her. “This is more than just some little spat between demons, Sam. So you might want to wise up before that little spat comes back to bite you in the ass, hard. Bigger problems, hu? Like your brother checking out in a couple months? Its a shame you won’t help me because- Well - I might just know how to save his ass.”

The crossroads demon took a sip from his cup; the faintest hint of a grin visible over the rim as Ruby made a show of playing along.  “Black lace is a classic.” He conceded.  “Yeah, just don’t get the stuffed ones.  You know how it goes with demons in the kitchen…That ain’t jelly, an’ it sure as Hell isn’t cream.”  Sadly, he probably wasn’t joking about that.  Malcolm took another sip of his coffee, looking the other demon over a bit more carefully.  And then, in a decidedly bored tone he answered, “Doin’ swell.  Wearin’ a crown generally tends t’ improve the quality of one’s day.”  His eyes narrowed ever so slightly, “…But somethin’ tells me this’s all news t’ you.”  It was a clear accusation.

“What can I say, I’m a classic kind of demon,” she spoke with a nonchalant shrug. Ruby laughed at his comment about the donuts, “you got me there, handsome. But that’s the part of the fun.” It was true that Ruby hadn’t been around too much the past few years. From crawling herself back out of hell and doing her own thing for a while, she hadn’t had a chance to catch up on the politics of hell. Nodding she gave him a slight once over before speaking, “You could say that. I don’t exactly play by the rules anymore, not that I ever did anyway. I still would love to know how that little shit slithered all the way to the thrown. Any ideas?”
