Minecraft for sure, more the community around it. My first experience on the internet was from Minecraft youtubers and playing on Minecraft servers and that definitely shaped the way I am through the people I watched and the friends I made from it. And I think it's been in a positive way, I mean I didnt get shapes into those Minecraft fans on Mojang posts being ungrateful spoiled brats, complaining when a 20 year old game releases free high quality updates regularly and takes player feedback.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999). Not only because my blorbo is in there but because it is the reason the stalker type enemy is popular today and is a masterclass on creating amazing boss fights and real stakes when fighting. Every encounter with Nemesis you come out of worrying if it was worth it, proud of your accomplishment but terrified for the next corner. It's still one of the best examples of survival horror done right in my opinion.

Also, one of the earliest exampes of a woman lead in a video game, and unlike in the remake she's not overly sexualized or made a damsel in distress, it is very clear from the gameplay she is the strongest STARs member, which even ties into later games and movies where from playing as her you know what the stakes are when Jill is brainwashed by Wesker, or you know from personal experience why in Death Island no one is panicked by being infected because Jill is still out there. (Which isn't something you'd understand as well if your only experience with this character is from the remake, it'd seem like those other things are out of character!)

In the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, theres the "Ladies of the Wood" quest, where you must decide whether to kill or spare a spirit. Sparing results in the spirit destroying an entire town, and killing the Baron and his wife. However, if you kill the spirit, an entire town of innocent orphans that you have gotten to know very well will die. And there is no way to save both of them. The town and the Baron aren't fantastic, there's a reason the spirit destroys them, but there is no doubt that allowing the orphans to die saves the most amount of lives, including some innocent ones. I'm still not sure if I made the right choice.
