oh, that’s right, I have this now! I’m Kairos (they/it), a traveling musician of sorts and Dragon-type specialist. some refer to me as the “Storm-braving Bard”, if that rings more of a bell? some MewTube video of me riding straight into a tornado upon my Dragonite went viral a few months back, which earned me the name…
but, anyways! nice to meet you all. as I said, I travel a lot- my dream is kind of a silly one, but along with bringing my music all around the world, I hope to encounter every known species of Dragon-type. whether by catching them, battling them, or just witnessing how they go about their daily lives- I want to learn as much about them as I can. I suppose a secondary goal that aligns with that is to meet every other Dragon-specialist in the world and learn from them… or at least as many as I can ^^; people are more abundant than the number of Dragon species, as far as we know anyway.
if it wasn’t obvious, I have a deep respect and appreciation for Dragons. getting to work and adventure with my own have permanently altered the course of my life. I just… feel as the best way to repay these creatures for all of they’ve done for me is, well, this. in many places dragons are revered, but there are others where they are greatly feared. numerous species are registered as endangered in the wild, and that could have a dire impact on our world if they disappear. my greatest hope of all is to maybe make the world a bit better for them, by educating people and showing them the wonder of these intelligent, beautiful Pokémon- more than just destructive powerhouses a lot tend to see them as! which they can be, but they’re also much more that.
sorry if that was, um, a bit wordy! I’m very passionate about this Type- promise you I don’t wax poetically like this all the time :’) but! if you also like dragons, I hope you’ll join me on this adventure.

-Aeolus (F Dragonite)
my starter, my closest friend, and pretty much my sister. I earnestly believe I share half of my soul with this dragon- she’s followed me through more up and downs than anyone I’ve ever known. she’s the reason I’ve chosen to even embark on this journey!
-Cloudburst (M Altaria)
now this one is a bit like my backup singer, haha! he provides much of the background vocals of my music with his serene voice-based attacks. aside from helping me during my performances, he’s also surprisingly fierce and unrelenting on the battlefield, hence how he got his name.
-Toska (F Dragalgae✨)
fairy destroyer no. 1. I’m sorry, nothing against Fairy Pokémon themselves, but a certain brand of fairy trainers I get troubled by quite frequently are ones who think they are- ahem- tough shit because they have Pokémon that “slay dragons”. aside from that, Toska is a very sweet and mild girl. a bit clumsy with her poison at times, but I still love her despite the hospital visits hugging her sometimes result in <3
-Tungsten (M Duraludon)
fairy destroyer no. 2. while he’s a beast in battle, at heart he’s a gentle giant <3 he’s incredibly affectionate, to the point where I’m beginning to wonder at this point if he’s aware that he’s a living, breathing 40 kg hunk of metal, but thankfully he hasn’t crushed my ribcage in a Bewear-like grip yet. would not be the most severe damage a dragon has done to me, haha…
-Koen (M Deino ✨)
the latest addition to my party- he’s still a hatchling, broke out of his egg just a week after I’m writing this in fact, so I have yet to see how his personality will develop. taking on one of the Hydreigon line is a big task, but after plenty of research I’m confident in my ability to raise this little one properly! definitely going to document his progress for you all.

hi! uhh new blog again. Kairos is just a character I made for fun, I really wanted to make a dragon specialist bc I am. Very autistic about dragons and needed one I can project all that through lol.
It won’t have an overarching story as of now (already taking on enough big story projects haha-), and this blog will mostly be low-stakes. MAYBE some small dabbles in mid-stakes? I dunno yet. but I hope you like them! also, I’d like to confirm now that they’re in the same universe as Pokémon: Horizons C: (Which I haven’t watched in full yet so who knows how relevant that’ll end up being)
Rules-

there’s truly nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing the brilliant smiles of the people and Pokémon I sing before. just… knowing that my voice, my music, and the bond with my Pokémon is helping bring them closer together? that’s worth more to me than any amount of money.

[VIDEO: Kairos playing in front of a live audience in front of Lumiose Tower during the night, the pale beacon light of Kalos’ most well known landmark illuminating them in gold as they dance, spin and frolic across the stage while singing their heart out to “Into a Fantasy” by Alexander Rybak. A violinist and guitarist play in the background, and an Altaria sat on a perch provides backup vocals that harmonize perfectly with the voice of its trainer.
At the climax of the song, the lights of the tower suddenly dim, a single spotlight drawing all attention to Kairos. They pull out a silver lyre, drawing close to the edge of the stage in a slow, relaxed stride as they begin to pluck at the strings.
“And I,
I will be with you every step…”
A slow swell of the violin plays.
“Cause I
I found a friend in you,
And I keep you close forever…”
After the second to final verse, the upbeat guitar suddenly picks up again, and Kairos prances backwards towards the far end of the stage.
“Come fly with me-”
As they start to lightly bounce on the soles of their feet to the rhythm, the Altaria behind Kairos takes lift, slowly circling around the musician with the ribbon-like feathers on its head flowing behind it.
“Into a fantasy-”
Altaria pumps its wings and lets out a beautiful, melodious cry, letting its cloud-like plumage become aglow with a pink and white sparkles. The audience gasps in amazement as the dragon-bird proceeds to perform elegant spins and flips, now leaving a dazzling comet trail in its wake.
“Where you can be,
Whoever you want to be-”
Altaria suddenly takes a sharp turn, scaling a few feet up the side of the tower before rounding back to swoop right at its trainer with its talons outstretched. The bard raises their hand, and just Altaria whizzes overhead, it grabs onto the bird’s leg in a swift, practiced movement, becoming airborne in the blink of an eye.
“Come fly with me~!”
Cheers of marvel and awe erupt across as Kairos and their Altaria start to soar right above everyone’s heads. Kairos leans down enough to high-five some members of the audience that reach up towards them, a smile as bright as their Pokémon’s feathers beaming on their face. You can tell it’s having just as much as a blast as everyone watching the performance is.
Their voice continues to resonate over the city square, even so far up from the stage, until Altaria starts to veer back in the direction of it. It drops Kairos a safe distance from the ground, where the bard lands gracefully just as they reach the end of the lyrics. They start to dance and twirl again to the upbeat, symphonic outro, people beginning to clap along to the beat. Their white scarf flaps behind them with their eccentric movements and almost seems to glow in the light of Altaria’s Dazzling Gleam, making Kairos appear as if it has its own pair of wings.
Finally, as the music reaches its final breve, Kairos cavorts back to the center of the stage and takes a bow. Their Altaria’s circles back down to them, taking perch on the arm they outstretch for it as they bounce back up to wave, people and Pokémon alike bursting into rapturous applause around them.
