how I think each reacted to their mechanization-

jonny- tried to kill Carmilla and/or himself. Failed and found out he was immortal that way.

Nastya- oh well. Guess I’m here now. Just fucking great.

I love that trope you see in some podcasts where the narrator has a very obvious seething hatred of one of the people or organisations that they regularly talk about and is just. So comically uncharitable in their reporting about them. And you don't learn why for ages if at all, they just Fucking Hate Them. I love Cecil and Steve Carlsberg.
