I've been spending a lot of time with Oblivion Remastered lately (and will be with Skyblivion also) and despite the sour feedback about Oblivion-vampirism my Hero of Kvatch definitely accepted the Dark Gift from Vicente. 

In the end it was one of the only lasting mementos of his dear vampire colleague he carried with him into the bitter end. It was one step closer to the final madness ;)
