not a quote, but i'm rewatching gem's season 9 and the empires crossover in particular. and i am obsessed with the fact that empires seems to be this whimsical, magical place where the players get to play make believe and create this amazing story in this gorgeous aesthetic beautifully built minecraft world

and the hermits joined and were immediately like "we've noticed you guys have no incredibly ugly overpowered redstone farms that produce more items than you could possibly ever need, so we've decided to fix that immediately. here's an absolute eyesore made of cobblestone we built within five minutes of joining your beautiful server. do u guys like it?"
