Inksplash is a lanky cat who joined Riverclan after a patrol saved them from drowning. Though its meek nature and reluctance to fight led to some questioning if it was really 'warrior' material, clanmates were proven wrong after Inksplash got injured valiantly fighting off a rogue to save a young pup*. Though they are physically okay now, their constant worrying over both its clanmates and itself has left its mental health a little worse for wear; one will often find this cat sitting by the river to gather its thoughts. Nowadays, it spends most of their time taking care of the younger cats who see it as their guardian, most notably Merrypine.

*(In the RP this OC was in, clans were allowed to have non-cat members)

Fun facts: - Fighting off the rogue wasn't what resulted in the leg amputation; it just gave them a permanent limp. The actual cause was from a surprise ambush-turned-kidnapping by Thunderclan. Nevertheless, Inksplash is still a bit paranoid from both incidents. - They love decorating and weaving things, especially flower crowns. It's their love language! - It occasionally leaves to visit some of its kittypet friends.

Blackstar - no comment really Russetfur - I wanted to give her a cool scar. So I gave her a cheek-into-left-ear scar that caused it to flop over, as well as a few on the neck. And a little bit of a mullet. From what we've seen of her, she's quite serious imo. Fognose & Littlecloud - I really do adore the connection between the clans, but especially how it's shown between Shadowclan's seer and apprenticeship. The clans really do feel like a big family, but to me? it's really shown through the special attention Seer wardens give to their Seer. Anyways uh. Fognose and Littlecloud-- not that much honestly! Poppytail - Could not keep out the fact that in canon, she's named after her height. Not as tall as other matriarchs, but I find her just as intimidating. @redux-iterum

Lohan Headcannons

Just a bit of goofy headcannons I wanted to share before Lohan comes out later today. I've only seen his character trailer, and have avoided spoilers. This post will be spoiler free. 1. He likes fruit, specifically apples.

2. He really enjoyed the fairytale of Snow White as a little kid, and if you asked him who his favorite villan was? He would have 1000% said the evil queen.

3. Going off of my last one, The evil queen inspired his love of poisions, and using them in food.

4. I feel like he fell into the abyss, or has a similar backstory to childe's. Or they mirror eachother in some way. I just look at him and think Battle Maniac.

5. His favorite color is red.

6. He's either the middle sibling, or he is the youngest. No inbetweens. I will be suprised if he is a single child.

Part of the Ivypool and Dovewing AU I've been working on for awhile now. I haven't touched much on Tigerheart, so I started to get into it here. Dovewing does not move to Shadowclan in my AU, partly because her and Ivypool have repaired their relationship and are much closer. But also because Dovewing is very overwhelmed in her life right now and despite Thunderclan's faults, they feel stable to her as a known element.

As for her and Tigerheart's relationship...it's always had its rough patches, and Dovewing has begun to notice some problems with it. Pregnant with his kits, she thinks about the type of mother she wants to be. How would she feel if her own kits were perused as apprentices by a warrior?

Ivypool is especially guarded around Tigerheart, as their relationship has always been contentious. He reminds her of Hawkfrost, who also groomed her as an apprentice, although obviously that was a worse situation.

Please tell me if the comic needs to be split in two, I'm hoping the image quality survives tumblr.

Clan founders line up

been wanting to do designs for the clan founders for a while now. its been years since I read dawn of the clans and remember being very attached to it

and yes, I included Gray wing. it felt wrong not to include him despite him not being an actual clan leader.

These are gorgeous! I also like how swirly RiverRipple's fur looks; honestly he reminds me a little of Silverstream. Also Wind Runner? Chefs kiss! Tall Shadow is also an amazing look! The back markings are a good touch.

I really like how you can see a resemblance between ClearSky and Thunder, while showing the younger tom takes after his mom. GreySky looks good too!

I made a post before about how I think Barbatos voted for the destruction of Khanrei'ah and now in the summer event we know a bit more about Barbatos's place in the world.

to recap quickly Venti wanted the 7 and their nations to band together and defeat the Abyss the first time it appeared. This cataclysm 500 years ago lead to the Tsaritsa cutting ties with Barbatos.

Now summer event lore. Venti takes Bennett to Natlan. Here Venti meets up with Mauvika and explains to her essentially something is going to happen to Bennett let's have a plan to guide him home. Mauvika helps open the rift to Mare Jivari. Venti uses a candle to signal to Mauvika. They use their joint archon powers to save Bennett's life. The memories being conjured specifically as a power Barbatos's has.

we've seen him do it before in other events.

As for the big reveal. Time. Barbatos has held a fragment of the Authority and Power of Time. As a wind spirit Istaroth granted him this.

and with this power Venti blew Mare Jivari off the timeline to save it from corruption during the events 500 years ago

Windless Land is a Timeless Land because the authority of Istaroth by Venti's actions was no longer there. But we saw wind blows strongly and Venti was the only one immune to it in the story event.

All this shows Barbatos is willingly and very much able to do drastic things when the time comes. He blew an entire part of the world essentially off the face of the planet. And watched adventurer after adventurer get lost in Mare Jivari only guiding home a few souls he could reach. Whatever went down in Khanrei'ah I know it was big. And the Tsaritsa clearly feels very strongly about it all

I honestly think this is a solid take. I can't wait to learn about why the Tsarista specifically cut off Barbatos; even if we've already got an idea.

alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.

we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
