KGLW's Drag Outfits, an Intellectual Review
Stu: bubble gum pop princess, she doesn't know how to dress but somehow she's the coolest woman you know
Lukey: effortless, chic. the kind of girl who always carries extra pads and tampons in case someone needs them, the kind of girl who always compliments other women in the club bathroom.
Cookie: my mom at a brunch
Cavs: a troll doll
Amby: The year is 1928. We travel to the German countryside. By day, Ambrose lives a morose life, working in their father's Grule Factory and trying to save up enough money to escape to somewhere beautiful. But at night, Ambrose transforms into who she truly is, the beautiful Ambrosia. Ambrosia - so confident and elegant in ways that Ambrose could never be - is who Ambrose dreams they will become when they are finally able to escape, escape to somewhere beautiful. Under the cover of darkness, Ambrosia sneaks past her sleeping father and out into the crisp fall air, hiding her mother's finest dress beneath her clothes. The dress - a deep sapphire, resplendent with jewels and beaded fringe that sparkles beneath the moon - is the last thing that Ambrosia has to remember her sweet mother, who died in The War. Ambrosia makes it though the darkness on the edge of town and emerges, fully embodied, under the bright show lights of the Kerzenlicht Kabarett. Here at the Kabarett, everything is beautiful and everyone is free. Ambrose's world may be filled with despair, but here Ambrosia can live as she pleases, and twirl under the stage lights - her mother's gown a whirlwind of love and the promise of a better life. If only for a few stolen hours, Ambrosia is truly free.
Joey: slut 💋
