“Hold on, what did you just say?”
“I know I’m glad I picked this day to ask you.” He said smiling as they arrived at the theater. They walked up to the booth and bought the tickets for the movie. “Want any popcorn or drinks?” He asked as they walk in.
“Me too!” Emma replied. The movie theater seemed a little dead, but that meant less people to deal with talking during the movie. “Popcorn, defintely.” She told him, chuckling. “I need to munch on something while watching a movie.”
He smiled as he went over and paid for a large bag of popcorn. They started to walk to the doors of the theater. “Where should we sit?” He asked as they were the only ones in the room.
Emma grinned, looking at the theater’s seats. “Middle’s usually the best place to see the movie, but if we sit in the back we won’t have to deal with people behind us.” She said, thinking. “How about the back?”
“Alright sounds good.” He said as they walk to the top and sit down in the middle row. He hands her the popcorn to her as he leans back looking at the screen.
Emma followed him happily, sitting down next to him. She gladly takes the popcorn from him with a quick ‘thank you’ and got comfy next to him.
