The 1985 Hurricane Vanishings

Part 1: The Disappearance of Suzette Jefferson

In 1985, in the town in Hurricane Utah five people (one child, three preteens, and one teen) would go missing in the span of week in late October. While it was not the first mysterious disappearance in either the town or surrounding area, the amount of people in such a short amount of time was what made it so notable.

It would unfortunately not be the last time this would happen.

The first missing was Suzette Jefferson.

Daughter of the local High school principal Jeremiah Jefferson Sr and his wife Ada, six year old Susie was last seen at the playground across the street from her home. The week prior the family dog had run off into the woods next to the playground. Heartbroken, Susie would go there at least once a day, calling out to the dog hoping that it would return, her parents allowing it in hopes that it would make her feel better.

On October 28th Susie was doing just that while her mother watched from the front porch. In a period of time described as “less than a minute” her mother turned away to answer her son in the house and when she turned back Susie was gone. Initially her mother believed she had gone just past the tree line to search further for the dog, but upon there being no response or sight of the child when her mother arrived at the spot the child had just been she immediately got a bad feeling.

The police response was immediate, as a child being lost in the woods at this time of the year could be deadly. Hopes were initially high that the girl would be found, even as minutes turned to hours the town held out hope. It wasn’t wasn’t until a search dog led to a nearby road only to stop and loose its trail that people began to realize the true horror of the situation.

Suzette wasn’t lost, she was taken.

We were 15, 12 and 10. I think mother and father were 39 and 40? I miss them so much. I didn’t know all this stuff had been stored up in the attic, I honestly thought it had all been trashed. I’m planning on going through more of the boxes soon, hopefully there are more pictures. Who knows, maybe I’ll find some of our old home videos. If I find anything of Cass and Charlie I’ll make sure to send them your way.

Mike finds a little bit more then old family photos and videos and is what leads him back to Freddy’s. Just when he’s begun to move on and live a happy life his fathers sins pull him back, poor guy can’t catch a break.

In my au Elizabeth is the first of the Aftons to die, her death then being the catalyst for David’s (Crying Child’s) death. Elizabeth was Williams favorite. His “mini me”. So when she died he refused to acknowledge that he was at fault. He convinced himself it was his sons’ faults, especially Micheal. Williams behavior towards David and Rose (his wife) became emotionally absent and uncaring, and his behavior towards Micheal became hostile and downright abusive. In turn Micheal became more hostile to the people around him especially his brother. And with their mother being bedridden in her grief there was no one keeping the family in check eventually leading to the bite of 83.

Also her death is what leads to David’s fear of Freddie’s and the animatronics but despite what he saw William convinced everyone it wasn’t real, a fantasy crafted by his brain to explain Elizabeths unsolved disappearance/death. Like when your brain makes up imaginary monsters in the dark.

Long time no see

I’ve been posting on TikTok so if you want to see more Art just look up my user on there. It’s mainly sketches I’ve been making at work but there are so many tumblr won’t let me post them all at once lol.

His name was Alex Pretti. He was a 37 year old nurse who worked in the ICU of the VA hospital. He was a US citizen, born in Illinois, with no criminal record.

Alex was murdered by ICE for exercising his 1A rights to stand up for those who are having their 4A rights violated. He was lawfully carrying a firearm on his person, and peacefully maintaining his 2A rights, but never brandished his weapon or threatened violence. His last act before his life was needlessly taken was to help a nearby female protestor who ICE forcefully shoved to the ground. Alex was then sprayed in the face, tackled by a group of six or more agents, beaten repeatedly in the head with a blunt object, disarmed of the pistol that was still sitting in his waistband while covering his face with his hands, and then he was shot a minimum of 5 times, killing him on the spot. [...] He posed no threat to them.

It is not a crime to lawfully carry a pistol in an open carry state, and it is not a justification for murder.

Don't believe the lies the DHS and this administration are trying to spread. Watch the videos. Trust what you're seeing and what you're feeling, not what they're trying to tell you. Your integrity is worth more than your loyalty to any one person or cause.

You can clearly see an ICE agent pick up his legally owned firearm before another unloads his gun into Alex.

This was an unjustified murder in broad daylight and the administration are trying to cover it up.

Gravity Falls Au lore dump time. The background took me so long but I really wanted to get more experience in drawing backgrounds. It also took forever because for some reason fire alpaca hates me and kept randomly hitting the undo button throughout the entire process, it was driving me insane.

Its funny to think the character I originally made to be a joke reference to pyramid Steve mixed with my other ocs original backstory from when I was twelve would become my favorite. Anyway this drawing took me forever especially the library for the hair but I love how it turned out.
