The Basis of all suffering is Attachment 1. Grow flowers: sweet peas, daisies, marigolds, sunflowers. Lean towards the sun like their leaves do. Your petals are just as beautiful. 2. Buy floating lanterns and set one free ever so often with a wish dancing in its flame. But never a wish for yourself. Only wishes for others. 3. Forgive. Forgive. 4. Hold someone and smother them in pastel kisses till their cheeks hurt from smiling. 5. Rather than confess your stories to other people, fill your memory with theirs. Overflow with their secrets, their heartbreaks, and their childhood moments till all you taste is them. 6. When people tell you their favorite band or song, go listen to it thoroughly whether it be your type of music or not. 7. Meditate harder than you did the day before. 8. When it is most difficult to not get angry or yell or snap back, don’t. It will be a little victory every time. 9. Be open and accepting to people leaving you, not matter how much you love them. To keep them in your story is selfish. They were not meant for you, why would you ever hold them back from what is meant for them? 10. Let go, child of the universe. Be free.
