people who don't desire to "contribute to society" deserve to be alive

people who are aloof or callous deserve to be alive

people who don't follow social norms deserve to be alive

none of these types of people are inherently bad, evil, dangerous, or untrustworthy. personality traits and social preferences do not define someone's right to exist or be treated like a human being. and, if it's wanted, people with these traits can be just as good friends as people without these traits.

you're not better than them if you're an empathetic, sensitive, passive, extroverted, etc. plenty of "empaths" or popular members of a community are abusive. your actions are what matter most, not what emotions you feel/don't feel, or how social you are.

The thing is, I do want Netenyahu arrested. I do think he's a war criminal, and I do think Israel would be better off with him behind bars.

But I want the Israelis to do it. I want the Israelis to get a chance to handle their problems themselves. I want Netenyahu to have to confront the material harm that he's caused to his own people, and I want those people to have their justice.

I want Netenyahu to be brought to justice by the people he actually hurt, not some thirty year old New Yorker who thinks he knows better than Jews about antisemitism and feels entitled to speak over us about our own history for some goddamn reason.

i feel the same way about Trump. If he dies/is murdered in office, I will not celebrate. Only the man dies, not the ideology that placed him in the highest office.

Likewise with Netanyahu, to some degree... it's more important for his ideology to be defeated at home than to be arrested abroad.

These figures become martyrs if their constituents aren't the ones to take them out of office. National ideology needs to demonstrably shift.
