Rocky trills with excitement, perking up. “Storytime! Storytime! What Grace mate like?”

Usually, Rocky’s excitement is infectious. Right now, Ryland wants nothing more than to sink into the floor and never have this conversation. Then again, the urge to tell his best friend about the love of his life is strong.
