The Baron in the Trees by Su Blackwell
I know why the caged bird sings- Maya Angelou
A free bird leaps on the back Of the wind and floats downstream Till the current ends and dips his wing In the orange suns rays And dares to claim the sky. But a BIRD that stalks down his narrow cage Can seldom see through his bars of rage His wings are clipped and his feet are tied So he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with a fearful trill Of things unknown but longed for still And his tune is heard on the distant hill for The caged bird sings of freedom. The free bird thinks of another breeze And the trade winds soft through The sighing trees And the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright Lawn and he names the sky his own. But a caged BIRD stands on the grave of dreams His shadow shouts on a nightmare scream His wings are clipped and his feet are tied So he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with A fearful trill of things unknown But longed for still and his Tune is heard on the distant hill For the caged bird sings of freedom
An amazing paper artist, created mind blowing 2D to 3D sculptures.
Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.

Doing a project in uni about the railway as a metaphor in political cartoons, really interesting!
Cant stop humming this!
Imogen Heap- Hide and Seek.
Jason Derulo sampled this song for his Watcha Say song.
Really different and haunting song.
Amazing Cinemagraph, the GIF had been taken to a whole new level with these serene and beautiful images that are not quite photos, but not quite videos. Created by New York based fashion photographer and visual Designer Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg.

Said Hamlet to Ophelia, I'll draw a sketch of thee, What kind of pencil shall I use? 2B or not 2B?

The work of Saul Bass (May 8, 1920 – April 25, 1996)
He was an influential graphic designer, most well known for his film posters and title sequences. One of my favorite designers.
the end credits of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Didn't really like the movie but the end credits are a work of art! Beautiful.
