You shrugged and pushed a hand through your hair. âBesides the fact that someone obviously died in a very violent manner, I donât know. I mean⊠they want me to find someone, but I have nothing to go off of. Not yet, at least.â
âDoes it take a while?â she wondered. âFor them to⊠adjust, that is?â
When ghosts first appear to you, theyâre confused, full of anger or sadness, which is completely understandable. Physically, they take on the shape of their body at the time of their death. As they remember more details about their life, about their death, their form changes, sometimes slowly, sometimes in the blink of an eye. By the time you get them to accept their need to cross over, they look completely normal. Apart from being a ghost, that is.Â
