the crazy thing about this is that it took one single word to turn it horny. coulda been a normal cute post. coulda taken the high road & conjured a delightful image of a mouse scampering down the bar with a beer ten times its size balanced on its head. but you had to say "mousegirl" and not "mouse." don't pretend this isn't what's going on either i know the score i know what's up. i'm familiar with this sort of semantic trick. you want to fuck down on an anime girl with certain characteristics of a rodent and everyone's gotta know.

think the most pleasant experiences I have as a trans woman is how often I've been complimented for my voice after I started presenting more feminine, even without voice training

I mean in a way I was, just not on purpose. I remember my parents wanted me to speak in a lower "chest voice" since I defaulted to a higher register all the time. because they couldn't physically "fix" it (although they had tried if i remember right) they kept trying to make me self conscious so I would change instead

problem for them was none of it ever stuck. because that was where my voice was comfortable, and not something I had any strong need to maintain or perform. so it's also the part of myself that I didn't feel needed to change when the "oh shit im girl" part finally happened and the rest of me started to catch up

think that's why those comments hit so much for me. it feels like someone saying "hey I see this part of you that's the most You and I like it" and that shit rules 😭💕

Hi! I hope this doesn't come off as rude, I genuinely want to understand the reasoning. If it's a personal thing, you can absolutely ignore this. Why have you worked at so many different studios? Is your time at any one place just based on project length?

It's common practice in tv animation. If you ask any artist who has worked in tva for more than 5 years, chances are they've probably been at every major studio. I've worked on very few productions in comparison to my peers since Big City Greens has been going on for like a decade and it's been my only full time job in animation. Every other production I've worked on has either been part-time, freelance or something I hopped on temporarily while on hiatus.

As an artist, you're technically an employee of the studio but it's more like contract work. You're only at a studio as long as the production you're on. After your show ends, sometimes you're able to find another job within the studio but a lot of the time you end up just going wherever there's an opening (more often than not, at a different studio).

All productions are too different for it to be effective to keep all artists in a studio. Like an artist who worked at Nickelodeon on Avatar, after production ends, probably wouldn't be a good fit for something like The Loud House haha. They'd more likely find themselves at Amazon on something like Invincible or My Friend Superman with Warner Bros.

don't think any games final boss will top Urban Reign for me, like you go through 99 levels of beat-em-ups with all the blunt instruments you can imagine only for 100 to be "this guy has a gun think fast" and you get shot in the first 2 seconds the first 15 times until you can close the distance and land a singular punch XD
