Patroclus and Achilles
Keep reading
First drawing of the year feat pyrrha/achilles(? and Patroclus getting caught before leaving Skyros hehe
Remember, hearing some where that before marriage spartan women would cut off their hair, after that, I I really like the idea of Helen of Sparta cutting off her hair again when she sees her husband after the Trojan war, to sort of reestablish their relationship 💕
in book 23, patroclus reveals that he and achilles used to “take sweet counsel, apart from the others”. they used to converse with each other away from the rest. they likely shared a number of inside jokes, one always turning to the other when they wanted to relate a funny anecdote. little things known only to them.
until one day, achilles hears something amusing, bringing a smile to his face after a long time. he turns, on instinct, to share it with patroclus. only to realise patroclus is no longer there.
Lazy mornings
I’m very excited for 1.0 but I do appreciate hades 2 early access as its own, uniquely tragic version of the game.
Melinoe can fight endlessly and never truly defeat Chronos or Typhon. Her feelings and opinions can change but she can’t deviate from her task or challenge any of her alliances. Her loved ones will continue to live in hiding, even as she finds new ways to decorate the encampment. She can’t rescue her family or Hypnos or the fates and eventually she starts putting a sheet over the portrait so she doesn’t brood too much. Her work gets tougher with every new enemy and she feels like she’s not making progress. Hecate tells her to wait for a moment that never comes. The war continues endlessly. Time cannot be stopped.
