one thing that teen wolf genuinely did well is how often friendly interactions felt like real teenagers. like isaac walking into the "hot girl" conversation way too late for context but just going with the bit and agreeing. or when stiles asked scott if one of the disappeared sacrifices was a virgin and scott goes "definitely not. deaton makes me have sex with all of his clients, it's a new policy". then cracks up at his own joke.

like yes teens and young adults really don’t take anything seriously and most people I know LOVE a good bit. excellent representation thank you writers

Ponyboy: In the 5th grade, I desperately wanted to seem mysterious and edgy so I wrote an awful poem that I thought was life-changing, read it out loud in class. After school I checked social media and saw my classmates bashing me🤒

Two-bit: during a state test I was laughing so hard by myself and everyone was staring at me and the teachers got mad at me

Steve: binged an entire pot of rice while everyone watched

Ángela: went down a slide at the pool and my top fell down, almost flashed everybody but they were too drunk to notice

Curly: Tried to fight a girl in the 6th grade and lost because she sat on me and I couldn't breathe

Sodapop: was the only one in my grade to have a job. (One when I was 8-9, another in freshman year/currently🫩)
