i feel like today is an important day to acknowledge the fact that the only universal lesbian experience is loving women. as a t4t transgender femme lesbian, my experience with my gender and sexuality is vastly different than a cisgender butch lesbians experience with his gender, and that diversity in experience is a strength and a testament to the importance of the label amongst women, not a weakness of it. any practical feminism acknowledges these pluralities, and encourages them to blossom within their own respective frameworks. happy birthday lesbians ❤️
