This year, I've decided to try a crochet every day project. I'm crocheting a flower each day and stitching them onto a blanket, and by the end of the year I'll have a flower field. Here are the flowers from week 1: two daisies, three creeping phlox, two poppies.

A belated 6 month blanket update! I've added a lot of different kinds of flowers this past month, including:

Clockvine

Plumeria

Petunia

Carnation

Anemone

The white petunias are based on firefly petunias, and they glow in the dark!

I've started a new job, so I don't have as much time to make elaborate flowers, but I'm determined to see this project through.

Last month I was basically spinning my wheels making a hydrangea that I'm not totally pleased with, got discouraged and didn't want to post. Then I made some tiny flowers, regrouped, and then found the inspo to make a blanket flower, aka gaillardia. Followed that with some calla lilies and some spiderwort!
