2 new fragrances i got this weekend

I don't have too much to say in particular. For me Coach Dreams Sunset sits very close to the skin, I can barely still smell it on myself after the first hour, which is disappointing. though other people have remarked that they can smell it. so maybe it's just me? I also think it has a very linear progression. opens very pear-forward, not particularly fresh, but it does have a kind of delicate floral smell to it, which I like. but for the first hour, I found it settled into a very vague kind of territory. i cant really put my finger on how to describe it. (edit: i think its the citrus from the magnolia, its doesnt mix well with the ice cream and smells polarizing & bitter, almost a bit sour). after that little awkward period it dries down into a really pretty powdery vanilla & amber-y base. tonka bean definitely adds to the richness and it's more kind of custardy vanilla than sugary. i think it's a pretty versatile scent and despite the poor longevity and sillage i think it's decent. but maybe not worth the price if you're looking for a pear smell.

I got the Strawberry Spritz perfume oil as an oil roller and it is very strong. like, VERY. I fully expected strawberry to be the only note in this perfume. it was a surprise to find out theres other stuff there, because I can ONLY smell strawberry. if you want a pure berry smell, this is the one. it's not a fresh berry scent, it's a bit powdery on the drydown and opens like a gummy strawberry or strawberry jam. definitely very sweet. i think it would be great for layering because i didn't notice any type of linear progression over time, and the smell is very simple. it's not my usual type of thing, and smells a bit juvenile, but it's still good.
