Hornet Nouveau-ish style!

I tried to lean into a more nouveau-esque style again. I'm still getting the hang of it, but the process is indeed fun!

The flowers weren't chosen at random either! The ones on the right are columbine. They can mean something along the lines of folly and foolishness, as their shape resembles a jester's hat.

As for the ones on the left, they are azalea flowers. Thanks to their frail nature, they can symbolize weakness of the body or mind. They can also be given as a gift to console someone in their state of being.

I'm still very far from proficient in floriography; I just thought that adding a little meaning to the flowers could be nice, so sorry if the interpretations are a little off. I also wanted to maintain the red/blue palette for the piece.

Also, as a tip, keep an eye out for the little things in the background!

XVI - The tower.

I'm planing to do a Fear&Hunger tarot set, so feel free to follow along and check out how it turns out.

The first one is Per'kele, as the tower. The tower represents sudden change, disaster, trauma, destruction and chaos. Can also be translated as sudden change and intermissions. I did associated the meaning to the festival and the entire context of termina.

I did a bit of research to the cards, but i'm very, very far to someone knowledgeable in it's means. I'm still decinding about wich character should go in each card, so i'm allways up to recomendations

This is Ariadne!

She is one of the ttrpg characters i played at in a campaing. Studying in "Aurelia", a prestiged school that especializes itself in the study and learning of magic.

Although not the most powerfull wizard (no, very, very far from that), she is very resourcefull in the ways she uses simple spells.

To finnaly graduate she is going to face one of the biggest field research of her life: Going in an adventure with the adventurer's guild.

ARCANE ART!

Yes, i did watch arcane, yes, i did liked it, yes, Viktor was my favorite character.

However, one of the things that i was fascined about the show was the hex-core. Not only a great part to the whole plot, but a magic/technological piece with a so, so cool design. And one that evolves with the show and generates quite a piece of storytelling only with it's looks.

I have a group with 3 more friends that also watched arcane with me and, for the last christmas, i drew the different kinds of hex cores and gave for each one of them a version in a frame.

For the backgrounds i did take specific frames directly from the show, so they aren't from my own authory. Besides that, i give myself a pat in the head and say that it was a cool gift.

This little Creature of chaos is Hariett Riley, and it's my OC! Its been so long that i used her as one of my characters that i dont even remember from where i took inspiration or something like that.

I did ended up taking a great liking for her, so i'm constatly using and drawing her in my freetime

either being more colourfull and explosive drawings

or just silly things that run around my head
