or tadashi being better at japanese than hiro who struggles with it but can still speak it pretty fluently

imagine hiro accidentally using a cuss word or saying something that makes no sense in japanese and tadashi just kind of guffaws to himself in the corner and then tells hiro that he needs some work on it

but imagine one time hiro tries to sass tadashi in japanese but flubs it and tadashi just says something back with completely perfect dialect and pronounciation

OH but imagine tadashi learned japanese from his parents and hiro having to learn it generally on his own from school classes
