they do have their finger on the pulse of this fandom and understand it deeply. describing the way people treated sending shady links of the vday video like an initiation ritual into the true in-group was incredibly accurate to my experience. coupled with the visceral & violent language dan used re: how it felt (violated, assaulted, soiled) that segment was sickening to watch. i’m so glad people are older & kinder now and that they’re happy and comfortable.
