this is my OUAT sideblog, it started out as a blog focused on ouat pan specifically, but i do post a lot about other ouat & ouat neverland characters too xD pan is still my favorite character, but the other spots fluctuate between regina, wendy, rumple, ivy and tilly i will tag general ouat content that is unrelated to neverland as “#not neverland” in case anyone wants to filter that out my preferred pronouns are they/them, but i’m also fine with other pronouns, so go wild ig uwu. oh and one more thing! i’m a shifter and so might also talk about the drs that are related to ouat or that i scripted ouat characters into !! ^_^ my main is @fandom-fae

i think the thing with fiona and pan is that they’re almost the same exact level of evil except pan has accepted that and might even take pride in it vs fiona who still clings onto the claim that she's doing everything out of love for rumple, even when her actions clearly show the opposite.

the specifics of what they did (if we disregard the scale/the sheer difference in numbers) then pan and fiona did very very similar things tbh- he just admitted to himself that it was evil and that it was cruel and fiona is lying to rumple and to herself to act like the end goal was still to be with him.

but the thing is- fiona, when she was banished to the dark realm, clearly had a bit of access to other realms bc that’s how she stole kids, but she didn’t ever keep track of rumple in anyway- even tho i'm sure it would have been possible. and then pan, who never pretended like he wanted rumple back, did actually keep track of rumple very well- so much so that he knew about baelfire, (iirc he also knew abt milah), he knew about henry, he knew about the entire other side of henry's family (emma, snow, david, etc?? teh curse?!?). pan who claims to have always hated rumple showed more care in his actions than fiona who claimed to have always loved rumple. fiona didn’t even keep track enough to know rumple's NAME centuries later.

(by all means, according to what little fiona knew about rumple, she probably didn’t even know he was still alive)

and like im not saying fiona is more evil or that ~actually pan was a good guy all along~ (lol. lmao even), but i am saying its insane how similar they are despite this very different attitude

im rewatching a few season 6 episodes rn and i am once again mad that we didn’t get to see fiona and pan interact bc they’re so stupidly similar. both chose power and magic and immortality over their family/rumple, both mocked emma for how she grew up lonely (THIS IS SO SPECIFIC AND YET????) and everything else i wrote in that list ages ago xD (ill link that post if i find it again)

reading yt comments is often fun but sometimes i have to question if we watched the same show. someone there said that PAN of all characters has (and i quote) “there’s really this super suicidal atmosphere going on with him”??? like WHERE

everything he did in the show was to become immortal and then later to get revived??? this is probably the LEAST canonically suicidal character i know!!

like he has a lot of things wrong with him, he’s mentally ill in many ways, but he is not suicidal?? you could make more if a canon based argument that DEVIN is suicidal and devin was only in one episode??? even felix. or wendy, in a way. but PAN???
