The other night me and my partner were watching a good mythical morning video where they were trying to guess why toys were recalled. One of them was a some sort a rubber slingshot that you put on your finger. And the obvious bit my partner decided to do was "it goes on your tip". But they phrased it as, "You gotta fluff it a lil, get it at barley at half chub, then put it on-" which they didn't get to finish because I lost it when "fluff it a little" registered in my brain. Absolutely killed me. Can't stop thinking about it.

Sat down to finish the character descriptions for to be lucky and ended up researching towns in Washington State for about 30 minutes and got distracted by YouTube videos and then started researching flower meanings to assign a flower to each character plus what they would give to each other to describe their relationship for almost 2 hours. My partner came in and saw me scrolling through 4 pages of flower photos and meanings and went, "I thought you were working on your comic? I thought you were writing a comic? Why are you making flow bouquets?!?" I'm dying. It's symbolism! I'll make stickers or something with this information! Idk leave me alone!!!

Started this as a redraw of one of my older pieces, "a distorted mirror of you" but it changed quite a bit so idk if it still reads the same. It didn't turn out the way I envisioned at all honestly. It was supposed to be a lot more creepy and surreal with the mirror being glowy and portal like and the figure behind it being a shadow. The only features showing being the eyes and teeth. But I pivoted to include jackalope features to tie it into some of my other drawings and that changed the whole vibe. Oh well.
