“.........................” Well there’s nothing she can do now.
Crossing her legs and leaning against the building of what she thinks is Mafuyu’s home. Fumika wrapped her arms around the seal pup, keeping her close as an attempt on keeping her nice and warm for her little nap. Even though she’s pretty sure she’ll be fine--nothing wrong with just alittle bit more warmth for the lil pup.
She even managed to get the cold Fumika to blush quite a bit!

it seems like everything they call growing up has to jerk your guts out and just about wreck you and i’ve never been able to understand why that’s supposed to be good for you.
it just sounded dumb to me.
which made what happened a lot harder to live with, i can tell you.
sometimes it would be nice if life just kept happening the way it’s happening, if things got to a good place and just stayed there, didn’t change.
they have to try or it was all for nothing, and nobody likes to do something all for nothing.

He tried to give her some sort of reassuring smile when she took her drink back, for both of them, it got oddly emotional considering this started with her nearly strangling him.
“Thanks. Nice talking with you too.” his red hand scratch the back of his hand feeling a little foolish for not just trying to be honest that he snuck on at first instead of sneaking around the boat. “I’ll try.”
Not like everyone didn’t lie at some point. Even after this encounter, there more than likely will probably be a moment where she chokes him again. That will never stop until there’s at least some sort of better sign, or if the other decides to betray them. From how little he knew of the witch/sorcerer, Fumika could at least assume he won’t really do anything to them.
Her head lifted slightly as the lights were becoming more prominent now. They’re getting close to the island, finally. “......please do be careful next time....I hope you travel safely..” She’ll have to try and slow down the ship eventually. She didn’t want to fully set anchor after all. They were originally going to travel to the Rainbow Isle. But getting this demon off the ship right now is first priority. He could barely stay on for too long anyway. He probably wouldn’t like to stick around all the way to Rainbow Isle as is. They slowly stopped close by the dock of Star Isle, looking over at the demon and even waved slightly. Least he’ll be fine here, nothing but star fruits here. “....if you ever need to be picked up and you’re in any isle..just wait around the docks..”

The demon waited , looking over the sea and just trying to calm his nerves with another sip of the sake, slowing down a bit. Adauchi certainly chose the right place to run off to if that was him.. Emalf didn’t want to think about that again and looked back to Fumika.
His ears perked when she finally replied, something about it was a little sad to him, like she was keeping something to herself, but he wasn’t about to try and dig into her business after she let him keep his secrets.
“Need a drink?” He offered, holding the Sake out for her in case she wanted it back too, trying to repay her kindness.
“Okay.” He nodded, he could kinda see some lights now that she said that, to him it was hard to see them past the reflection of starts but this was hist first time out on the sea.
“..............” Guess it’ll be fine if she took a swig as well. Getting off the wall she had leaned against and walked on over to him. Giving a small nod as her answer before taking the flask and taking a small swig of it. She wasn’t much of a drinker, but it’s always the kind of thing to help forget and relax at least.
“......it was nice talking with you..” She admitted, stepping back as she went to take the wheel to only slightly adjust the direction of the boat. Having a tentacle out to feel the wind before she’d return by the edge of the boat, “The wind is in our favor........next time, do make your presence known in some way..”

It was something he’d probably deny but the likeliness was still uncanny. It was probably for the best that the other wasn’t sure, Emalf wasn’t even sure what’d he’d do after all this time. Oh- where was she going, he perked up turning to watch but didn’t move when she disappeared.
“huh? Oh.. ugh thanks.” He took the sake up in his hands and only held it for a minute or two, then took a pretty decent sized swig listening to her “You see them as family too orrrr?” The wording confused him, seemed strange not to if she was keeping them safe, even in the middle of the night against him. “Still, doesn’t sound so bad. I kinda do the same stuff.” Though not as good.
“...........yes. They are my family..”
That took her a good while to answer. There were feelings she had but..well those didn’t matter. She can only remain loyal to Wadanohara and nothing more. It was probably foolish of her to think there would ever be a moment that they’d....Well..again, all that didn’t matter now.
But....it’s not like having them as family was a bad thing. It’ll just be a little difficult for her. At least just for now. It’ll all pass eventually and she’ll be able to just feel indifferent about it all.
God--why is she even showing this much to this guy. The fact she showed even an ounce of weakness was horrible. Lifting her head up to look out at the vast sea, Fumika looked mainly at the stars to navigate their way to the isle. Letting out a small sigh before she spoke, “It won’t be long now..” Not much of a social butterfly..She very often keeps a lot of things to herself. But, perhaps due to his nature, even she’s able to relax even just a little bit.

This was it, the area where they had found Wadanohara’s new ‘friend’. It was pretty difficult to get to this place on her own, the jagged rocks were especially no help. Fumika made sure to at least leave a note behind that she was going to do an errand on her own. There’s no need to have her master as well as his familiars to come pick her up so soon. She wanted to meet this orca on her own. Why they decided to even call them their ally was still a mystery to her.
Then again, she wasn’t sure if they’d come back to this place again either. Even if the orca wasn’t here, perhaps she could find ways to track them down somehow. Walking along the path of what could barely even be called an isle, she looked around for anything that could be useful to her. Keeping herself on high alert in case she needs to defend herself quickly.

She went ahead and sat down by the small dolphin, adjusting her coat slightly before looking at her drawing. Making her smile slightly as she nods, “looks nice so far....” She pondered if she should get Dolphi some juice. She puts so much into her drawings, she’s pretty sure she often forgets to take breaks.
