If she had been sober, Jaehee would have seen Youngjaâsactions for what they were. The way she fluttered those pretty eyelashes whenthe blond approached her, introducing himself as â John? Jackson? before askingher to join him on the dance floor. Youngja glanced at her, a smirk alreadyforming on her lips, as she readily agreed and slipped her hand into his openpalm, allowing him to the lead the way.
If she had been sober, Jaehee would have rolled her eyes atthe way Youngja flirted with the man. Pulling him close, so close until therewasnât a breath of space between them, encouraging him to place his hands onher waist. She giggled when the hem of her dress lifted ever so slightly,exposing the curve of her thighs to him â and everyone around them.
(Itâs a game they play â or rather, one Youngja plays â eversince Jaehee casually mentioned that she doesnât get jealous when Youngja hangsaround other men or women; unlike Youngja herself, who always bristles whenJiyoung clings to her side or when Mark calls her the most beautiful girl inthe room. Jaehee isnât sure why Youngja wants to make her jealous â to proveshe can? to prove sheâs just as desirable? either way, the game always endswith Youngja in Jaeheeâs bed, so sheâs never minded it too much).
Until tonight, that is. Jaehee canât remember the last timeshe drank this much (probably Yugyeom and Bambiâs graduation), but the room isspinning in dizzy circles all around her. She can barely sit straight on theposh bar stool, but there is one thing that remains crystal clear and thatâsYoungja, who sends her a wink as the manâs fingers begin to tease at the sidesof her thighs. Youngja shivers and presses more of her weight against him,biting her lip when his filthy hands move back up and grip her hips morefiercely.
Jaehee staggers to her feet but remains momentarily immobile,watching the scene unfold with repressed rage. Itâs taking everything she hasnot to go over there and attack the man, furious at him for touching what is herâs, lips brushing against the neckonly she is allowed to kiss. Shewants to grab this man by the hair and smash his face into the floor, kick himuntil she hears a rib snap â but even more than that, she wants to wipe thesmug look off of Youngjaâs face, bruise those pretty lips as she congratulatesthe other on a job well fucking done, before reminding her who she reallybelongs to.
She takes a deep breath and feels her nails digging into thepalms of her hands. Another deep breath and sheâs walking away from them andtowards the exit, pushing her way through the incoming crowd. One last deepbreath and she shivers, waiting as the night air bites at her exposed flesh.

âUnnie, what the fuck?â Youngja appears a moment later, oneof her sleeves askew and a scowl on her face. âYou canât just leave like that!What ifââ
âWhat if what?â Jaehee whispers, her voice low enough to notattract any unwanted attention. âWhat if I missed your little show? Hmm? Missedseeing the way he wanted to fuck you right there!?â she nearly shouts, the lastof her control slipping through her fingers.
A few curious eyes glance their way and Jaehee canât decideif she wants to kick off her stilettos and run, or potentially use them in afight. Just as one guy points their way and Jaehee can feel her anger spiking,Youngjaâs hand on her waist stops her. âCâmon,â she says, the sound of her voicesoothing Jaeheeâs vicious nerves, âLetâs get a cab and go back to your place.â
She glances over at the guy, who in turn raises a mockingbrow at her. âYeah, alright,â she agrees with a grumble, body still bubblingwith anger. She manages to keep it together until theyâre safely inside her apartment,shoes off and Youngjaâs purse thrown onto the floor. âYoungja,â she says as shefinally faces the other, practically growling with her fists clenched by hersides. âWhat the fucââ
âWait, unnie,â Youngja interrupts her softly, smiling andwalking towards her with bare feet. She looks adorably tiny like this andJaehee can feel some of her anger ebbing away, the fondness she usually has forYoungja returning and making her want to reach out and pull her closer. âI knowyouâre mad, but I just have one question for you, okay?â Youngja asks as shestands right in front of Jaehee, adorably beautiful with her makeup all smudgedand hair disheveled.
Jaehee sighs, more of her anger disappearing. âYeah?â
âOn a scale of 1 to 10âŠâ Youngja pauses, her smile slipping intoa devious smirk, âhow jealous were you?â
âOh, you little,â Jaehee turns on her heel and attempts tostorm away, but is stopped when Youngja latches onto her with a giggle. âNo,fuck you, let me go! Iâm mad at you!â
âThen,â Youngja is suddenly speaking into her ear, causing ashiver to run down Jaeheeâs spine. âHow about I make it up to you?â she punctuatesher point with a kiss (she knows Jaeheeâs ears are sensitive, the bitch),before untangling herself from Jaehee and running towards the bedroom, still giggling.
Jaehee sighs once more, but follows after her with aslightly less disgruntled look.
