Amiga graphics programs took up the cover of this issue, with one promising to bring "the real world into your computer" in the upper left corner. (Inside, Digi-View and an older program digitizing video camera input on the Commodore 64 were illustrated photographing a model robot from the Armored Trooper VOTOMS anime.) The news section looked at the Apple IIgs and, comparing its specifications to the rumours flying just beforehand, judged it "no contender," mentioning that "even Apple management says this machine is for 'enthusiasts' (translate: Hackers) only." Elsewhere in the magazine, a long-promised box to let the Commodore 64 run Apple II software was examined at last; the review concluded that it was probably more cost-effective to acquire a Laser 128 Apple clone, which would also run newer software, but the "Spartan" was "fun to play with."
