Hoping for the best.
I quite like this one, there isn't many that I like, but this one...I do.
If I ultimately end up liking the entire set of images, I might submit it to a few places. Although the chances of me not hating this set in a few weeks is pretty slim.
Maybe I am too critical on my own work?
This is quite a good year of gigs for me, I've got Amon Amarth on the 19th Janurary, Architects & Wednesday 13 a day after each other in March, they can't come quick enough.
Coincidentally, here is more of the architecture project I am currently doing.
I have been having a huge phase of listening to the music of my teens...Granted the only change is that my tastes have got heavier but damn, it's been so long since I last listened to the albums Tell All Your Friends & Louder Now.
This image made me realise that about 98% of my photos are black & white...Although I liked this in black and white more, others said it was better in colour...So I shall put my bias to one side and leave it in colour. What do you guys think?
Life
I am starting a new series of images which consist of architecture and industry. I went out a few days ago and took a few, I haven't embarked on a new project in some time, so it is kind of nice to have a new perspective on things, it's amazing the things you miss when you are always looking down.
Also, Tumblr, I hate that I have to make a new folder & extra exports just because you don't allow images of 10mb...
Misty Morning
Every day was like this, raining, misty, almost poetic. Most of all it was perfect, for both my mood and gave me quite a lot of inspiration for writing whilst there.
Sunrise over the middle of nowhere...
Clarity
This is quite an accurate representation of life at the moment. All this atmospheric black metal I have been listening to appears to be have quite an influence in my photography.
I shall upload some more later.
The Sound of Independence - A Short Music Documentary
Hello there, as some of you may know, i am a part of a film production company called RedWave. We are entirely made up of students (the five of us) and we have just finished making a documentary entitled The Sound of Independence.
It's a short 16 minute documentary which focuses on how independent musicians get their music out to their audiences via means of distribution such as busking, attending open mic nights & producing music in their homes.
Please, give it a watch and let me know what you think, you can find the RedWave page here.
We are looking to enter it into as many film festivals as we can.
You can watch the documentary here!

Please, reblog, share, do what ever you can do, it means the world to us.
I didn't think I'd do this, but I suppose I shall, simply because you never know who it's going to help. As some of my followers who have been here for a while may already know, I have been struggling on and off with depression for about a year now. It's stopped me doing work and doing the general things I love. I have lost a lot this year, more than I'd like to openly admit. I would go as far to say I had completely lost my will to continue. Until recently.
I have had what feels like this swirling maelstrom in the pit of my stomach for a few months now and I was getting to the point where I was so blinded by anger and hatred for everyone and everything I did things I regret to copious amounts.
Until now, it's amazing how we can so instantly be brought out of such a pit. Even by a stranger. I am forever indebted by this stranger for helping me in ways she may never understand. I haven't even met her or spoke to her over the phone. A lot of people & the media give flack to the internet and the people on it, but there are some truly decent people out there and they can make you the happiest person in the world or at least they can briefly, I know this pain and anger is still there but it occasionally gets overridden when talking to them.
I recently got to a point where my anxiety was actually starting to hurt me physically, I had a phase recently where I got such horrible chest pains I was terrified that I was actually going into cardiac arrest. It pretty much immobilized me.
I hope if anyone is reading this and is going through the same things as myself then they'll understand that nothing in the world that anyone can say or do will make it seem like it's worth continuing, especially when you are at a point where you are genuinely disappointed that you woke up in the morning.
But please, do continue, make art, do whatever you need to do, it could just be worth to go on for that extra day. It did for me.
Life is starting to look a bit better, let's see where this goes shall we?
