re my post on realistic studyblr, perfectionism, etc, if you need to hear it: i have a disability that affects my ability to do my work. i get disabled students allowance. i have a support worker at uni. i have to take mental health days and weeks off. sometimes i scrape a 2:1 or get a 2:2. my attendance is about 70%. i probably won't graduate with first class honors. sometimes i hate my degree. sometimes i prioritise fun with my friends over my work. there are people "better" than me in my classes. i don't know what i wanna do after my degree. stop this grindset hustle culture. it is okay to be imperfect and to just enjoy what you do

Properly starting the research for my next seminar paper today, topic being the modern day reception of welsh journalist Gareth Jones. I like the topic, but i‘m having a hard time getting back into the work rhythm of reading research lit for hours on end. Have reactivated my friend library alliance to at least get myself out of the house to work most days. Maybe reactivating this blog will keep me motivated?
