I haven’t posted anything in a while due to a certain game keeping me occupied. After unlocking the Able Sisters I may have went overboard with making my own designs, majority of them being JRPG characters but I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did making them! (Note: for the outfits that show “skin,” I have various skin tones that’ll match your villager if you search my ID instead of the design’s ID. I seriously saw someone that I knew was really into She-Ra like…when it first came out and harped about how it was the best thing ever just spend like six paragraphs mercilessly shitting on it and how it’s so problematic and terrible like…

PLEASE learn how to enjoy media like a normal human being instead of a freak show!

People on Tumblr have this really unhealthy and disturbing style of consuming media, where if something is hinted at being mildly progressive, they will hail it as the next best thing. Like it’s gonna end racism. People assign impossibly unrealistic standards to media created by both small single digit groups to huge media products, and when it (inevitably) does something that is even the slightest problematic, they tear it down as viciously and savagely as possible, lambasting it for being terrible and awful and turning back progress 20 years Like, don’t get the wrong idea, it’s fine to criticize problematic elements in media. Encouraged really. But let’s be real here, there is nothing that is entirely unproblematic or without Not Great insinuations or issues. But, you can still enjoy it. Nobody’s gonna come to your house and shoot you in the head for liking My Hero Macadamia Nuts or Habbo Hotel. You can enjoy something while recognizing the issues it has, as long as you aren’t excusing or trying to justify them. Trying to find the 100% flawless media that is totally safe to consume is honestly not worth the effort or time, that’s how we get gray paste Marvel/Disney live action films
