i am so proud of this team.

we had to fight incredibly lopsided officiating and injuries the entire way and we still took it to them. it doesnt MATTER what vile shit other people are saying, WE know what we put into this series. we have every right to be damn proud of our boys

(It’s okay to breathe, there are still hockey left. If watching is simply too much for you, there’s no reason to risk your well-being. I mean, if you truly have a risk for anxiety attacks etc. you don’t need to do this :)  Positive things can be found in both endings: winning = hell to the yeah, or guys rejoin their families and friends and we get finally some _relaxed_ summer content we’ve been waiting for.)

Also, I’m glad at least Tuukka has been honest with the press about how he feels. Do you guys really think hockey players should be lying to the press to make us all feel better that they’re ☺️super happy in the bubble☺️? Do you think that all the other players don’t feel shitty? Y’all don’t think that it cripples their mental health? Some of you are displaying some TOXIC masculinity issues by calling Rask weak. I’m sure if your 🌸 uwu 🌸 fave came forward about wanting to leave or feeling like shit emotionally, you’d stand by them because they’re a 🥺soft boi🥺.

I don’t care if you like Tuukka Rask. Because, I bet if it was Tyler Seguin or William Nylander or whatever y’all would be stumbling over yourselves to defend them. If you don’t like Tuukka over the cop thing or whatever, I understand. But, for most of y’all, because you don’t like the Bruins, you don’t like Rask’s openness, and he’s not a male-model-looking guy, y’all are unsure if you’re okay with him taking a mental health break. I bet if a player kills themselves from the mental stress y’all will be like “Oh no we would’ve supported you”.

Tuukka clearly came back to win. He struggled. He took on more than he could really handle. He doesn’t owe anyone an explanation about how he feels. We should be okay with a player leaving the bubble whenever they want. Even Steve Dangle supports Rask.
