i love clover because she’s the type to justify everything she does as “because it’s her job” but at the same time it’s clear nothing she’s done has ever been just because of her job nor will it ever be. “it’s nothing personal” she says while riding the biggest high of her life and/or on the verge of tears

she’s never been indifferent to something in her LIFE. her own enthusiasm has her jumping to connect with anyone who gives her the opportunity. the duality though is she’s afraid to let herself be weak the way she naturally is, bc she knows the power her own hurt feelings have over her, and how easy it is for them to get hurt 😔

it hits so good for clover to be helped (and saved) by someone less physically strong but more emotionally vulnerable than her. that’s why jumo + clover is what it is to me…. oh for clover to find the strength to face her fears in the soft feelings she has for the world’s most vulnerable people
