I'm going to put this out their. Spoiler/prediction, I don't know what you want to call it. I don't think Todd told anyone (Tawi) about White. So he is an ace in the hole, because while he walked away from everything and everyone he is still a diplomat's son. His father still introduced him to a bunch of people as his son and White's name alone connects him to his dad. If he gets arrested it will be big news, it won't quietly disappear. Not so easy to push under the rug to say the least.
