these were $2 at goodwill and so goofy I had to buy them
I have some of these, they're awesome.
I was told that most rescues are over run with black cats, not because people are superstitious but because they don’t typically photograph well, therefore they aren’t social media friendly. Matilda and I strongly disagree. Go rescue a beautiful black cat.
People are stupid. The kitties aren't to blame because idiots don't know how to photo.
Besides, who needs contrast when you have solar glasses. Cash here doesn't.
I keep taking these photos at work in the shit overhead lighting.
The only thing I don't like about silicone molds is that sometimes they are not shiny, thus requiring a glaze to see the sparkle.
This is my second attempt at a cloud. This time, it helped tremendously to follow the line I drew.
Here it's almost finished, only needing the line of purple. I found that I can truly achieve a dragon scale look when layering them tightly together. Anchoring the final sequins onto the piece (or when needed) works by sewing through the center from multiple points around the sequin.
I've been wanting to make sequin patches for awhile now.
This is my first attempt.
All I have is holographic cup sequins, but I have a buttload of them.
I usually see this stuff done with flat sequins instead of cup, so I wasn't sure how well the cup sequins would layer. I find that using small diameter sequins for the outside, and larger on the inside works best. It is best to work your way inside when sewing them on.
Using a single strand of matching sewing thread looks nearly invisible against this purple holo.
The start of a multicolored crochet sweater.

Basically me.
I've been working on these in my downtime at work. I intend to sew them together to create some sort of shawl.
