I love how Hunter and Echo have different, contrasting areas where they're optimistic vs pragmatic. when it comes to fighting the Empire, Echo is idealistic and Hunter is pragmatic. when it comes to raising Omega, it's the other way around. and they kinda balance out. just top tier stuff.

yes!! exactly. hit the nail on the head. I went into it before comparing ARCs and commandos, but the Batch seems to have grown up extremely isolated with only each other to rely on, while Echo was a reg used to larger groups who still considers the regs to be his brothers.

and Ahsoka was exactly the same as Omega when it came to sneakily tagging along to dangerous missions even if the adults said no (Citadel...) so this is just 2.0 for Echo lol

i generally ascribe to rex being a natural mutation blonde because there are just many more crunchy and interesting aspects of his character to explore but i think it would be funny if he was painstakingly bleaching that shit while other clones like fox were doing everything in their power to cover up their identifiable grey hair. and it makes fox fucking furious whenever he’s reminded this asshole is intentionally doing the thing that gets clones still on Kamino or 000 labeled as defects but he’s still thriving in his career. rex is like you know our skin tone looks good with light hair too you should let your roots grow. i can see some grey by your ears. and fox is like you will die in five seconds
