someone having relationships with the same gender, even if they donât have a relationship w the opposite gender or it wasnât a healthy relationship, doesnât suddenly mean they canât be bi? just in the same way that just bc someone dated the opposite gender in the past doesnât automatically mean they canât be gay/lesbian.
unless a character has an explicitly stated sexuality (ill even accept outside interviews by the creators) then ppl can say theyâre whatever sexuality they want lmao. getting pissy because you donât want to have to relate to a bisexual character is still biphobic. bi ppl can date just one gender. bi ppl can and do suffer from internalized homophobia/biphobia. neither of those are reasons to exclude the possibility of bi rep just bc u decided those were gay/lesbian exclusive experiences.
