Now that ep 9 of tadc is FINALLY on YouTube, I can talk about it. I saw the final episode in theaters on June 4 and tbh I didnât really like it. A lot of things felt rushed and unexplained. For example, Jaxâs abstraction was really sudden and we didnât really get any time to process it. We did spend a lot of time focusing on what happened when Pomni like âenteredâ abstracted Jax, but we still didnât really have that explained much either.
Also, the company made the digital circus kinda got forgotten a little bit. Why and how the characters got into the circus was completely left unexplained and WHY didnât they escape? And are the characters like a digital copy of their human selves? WE DONT KNOW because it wasnât explained.
The last episode felt very unpredictable, and normally thatâs good, but like because of its unpredictability, it didnât really feel satisfying. It didnât really feel like everything came full circle. And sometimes leaving a little bit of mystery is also a good thing, but I just feel like they didnât really execute that well.
The episode overall just wasnât satisfying and didnât really feel executed well.
Edit : A lot of people are kind of upset about me complaining about how it was âunexplainedâ and theyâre kinda right, what I was trying to say was I felt like there was still parts that were missing and there was more to explore. So âunexplainedâ wasnât the right word, but I just feel like thereâs more to find out about everything.
Edit 2 : people upset about what I said about Jaxâs abstraction, and I know why Jaxâs abstraction was abrupt, like I understand why but that doesnât mean I have to like it. And the main reason I donât like it is because the âabruptnessâ of it didnât feel executed well, like I know what they were trying to do I just donât feel like they did it ârightâ
