being a bi man getting the chance to date a bi woman has tbh been such a fulfilling and amazing experience for me. it’s been so freeing for me to finally be able to get over many parts of my internalized biphobia and share my life with another bi person who cares for me so deeply and intricately.

bi men and women dating each other is an experience that is so nuanced and unique i can’t even really explain it properly — the both of us share a deep understanding with each other due to our shared bisexuality (and the fact that i’m a nb trans man, but that’s besides the point) that cishet m/f relationships simply do not have. quite frankly, it is unfair and not based in reality to think that the two could ever be the same or similar in dynamic.

it just rly goes to show how people who aren’t bisexual will continue to misunderstand how we as bisexuals have extremely complicated relationships with sexuality, sex, and gender, and us being in different gender relationships does not and will never take away from that.

If you’re unfamilar with D&D or want a less complicated version, I recommend Fate. https://fate-srd.com You can print out out the character sheets or just keep them on hand in a PDF / image file. The rules are a bit more fast and loose, but still really fun!

another alternate source is pathfinder which is available legally for free through their publisher paizo here –> http://d20pfsrd.com <– it has races, classes, enemies, gm-ing sources, AND free modules. there are some paid ones, but i’ve run a few of the free ones and i rly like em!

some people consider pathfinder more difficult than dungeon & dragons but i prefer it and i also prefer not illegally sourcing my books but that’s legit a personal preference i know that tabletop rpg books are STUPID overpriced and i don’t fault people for not wanting to pay for them i just want pathfinder to get more hype bc i dont know anyone else who plays it lmao
