oooooo just had a thought

ur in the friendgroup with jordan. u guys have had chemistry for a bit,, a kind of rivalry thats built on incorrect assumptions and sexual tension

and they mainly decided to hate u bc of ur parents. ur parents are (to the outside world) allies, maybe vought executives, who knows. kind, doting, present... the kind of parents they wanted. u all even spent a month one summer at ur parents lake house. they never misgendered jordan, never made them feel weird about shifting.

but thats all an act. an act that u cant exactly afford to let slip. so whenever jordan makes fun of u for being a daddys girl or best friends with ur mom, u don't contradict them. u throw the barb right back, never revealing that ur relationship with ur parents isnt good. at all.

and when u come back from a particularly rough spring break, a still-healing black eye covered with foundation, u honestly have no idea how ur gonna keep up the act.
