HONEYDEW is a half-elf half-viera druid, living in a cottage in the woods. while well-meaning, she's known for her sassy attitude. she has pink and mint-green hair, as well as a pair of bunny ears atop her head and a bunny tail at her rear. she used to live in a druid circle with her family, though due to their strict nature, honeydew left to pursue a more independent life.

" hello ? do you need help ? " a voice, melodic and sweet, calls out from just beyond a veil of smoke and ash, and the shattered, smoldering remains that was once a mindflayer ship. lucifer's head lulls, listening for @honeydeiws's squishing approach as the thing wedged behind his eye withers in recognition. a savior, perhaps ? or worse, his captor ? is there even a difference anymore ?

" yes, " he grits out, spots of color dotting his vision as he struggles to get his feet back under him, " over...here.. near the hull. "

upon hearing the voice, honeydew practically dashes over to them, carefully walking over any weird mindflayer ship residue. approaching the limping figure, she's quick to take his hand, keeping him balanced.

" careful, " she murmurs to him, letting the man lean against her for support--- even despite her rather short height.

feeling the ugly little parasite in her eye wriggle, she winces before looking at the man.

" i have a feeling you were... also taken by the mindflayers? "

honeydew turns around, a lazy smirk on her lips: " let me guess: it's some enchanted knife you so happened to find---? "

she stops, seeing what alina got her, her eyes widening with surprise.

" oh. "

the thing in question is a necklace, one with a green-and-peach hued gem as its center-piece, hanging off of a small chain. honeydew carefully takes it into her hands, as if it were precious and delicate. she feels... stunned.

" ...thank you, " honeydew says, unsure how exactly to show her gratitude to alina--- was 'thanks' even enough? a smile grows on her pink lips, a quiet blush spreading to her cheeks, " i... i don't know what to say. thank you, alina. "

honeydew hates being called cute (unless she likes you and allows u to do it) bc she wants to be taken seriously! she left her family bc they didn’t take her seriously and it does upset her when people think she’s just some cute little pet or toy—bc that’s the impression it gives to her, that you don’t see her as a person, you see her as some cute little thing to play with.
