Hi,

Happy New Year!

I thought now would be a good time to establish what this blog is going to be all about and make some general disclaimers about it.

Let me introduce my self. I’m Milo/Matt. This is my first active tumblr blog… I had one a longgggg time ago, but I had to delete it because my mother found it. I’m still figuring out all the features and all that and I’m mostly on mobile, so if things go wrong or I don’t post a lot its because of that. I’m also a full time student, so if I go missing for a week or something don’t worry, I’m fine just busy.

My blog is a Sam focused Supernatural blog. You might catch me reblogging or posting about some of the periphery fandoms I’m in (Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, The Hunger Games, Marvel, some others tidbits of nonsense if I find them) but that will be quite rare.

I AM A WINCEST SHIPPER. If that’s a squick, an ick, or a DNI for you, get off of my page now, this will be your only warning. Do not harass me, but if you need me to get off your post or something just send me an ask/message and I’ll be out of your hair. That goes for everyone, strangers and mutuals alike.

I’m a Samgirl and this blog will be Sam-centric. He’s my blorbo and my all time favorite character from any franchise. I’m a bit Dean and Cas critical, but I love them very much, too. I also ship Sastiel, Sabriel, Wincestiel, and DeanBenny (a little). Daddycest and other dark pairings are welcome here; this blog runs on dark/gothic themes tbh. Other SPN rare-pairs may filter in, who knows.

I’m Destiel friendly, but Hellers are generally not welcome here. That’s not a DNI, just a warning. I’m not really into fandom wank and the works, I don’t do ship wars, and I don’t want to hear about why you think I’m a gross incest apologist. If you can be respectful I don’t care what you do here.

I don’t care about the prequel much either, so I’m not gonna post about it.

The hunt is over, but Sam’s hands are still shaking.

Not from adrenaline. Not really.

Castiel wipes demon gunk from his knuckles with a hotel towel that was already doomed. His coat is gone, shirt torn at the shoulder, sleeves rolled to the forearms. He looks exactly like he did out there. Calm. Protective in a way that made Sam’s chest hurt.

Sam had noticed it from the start. How Castiel stepped half a pace in front of him every time the demon lunged. How he took the worst of it without comment. How his grace flared when Sam slipped, bright and furious and beautiful.

Sam had been staring the whole time. He knows that now. Knows it in the way Castiel finally looks up and meets his eyes.

“You are still doing it,” Castiel says.

“Doing what,” Sam replies, too fast.

“Watching me,” Castiel says. “It is distracting.”

Sam laughs once, short and ugly. “Yeah, well. Join the club.”

He turns away, drops onto the edge of the bed, elbows on his knees. His shoulders are broad, filling the space, head bowed like he is waiting to be judged.

“I'm,” he starts quietly. Breathes out. God this is gonna be awkward but he is so very tired of it all.

“I know it's stupid, so fucking stupid. But I can't stop loving you.”

Castiel frowns. "I know that."

Sam closes his eyes. "Yeah no. I mean, I'm in love with you."

"Sam I know." Castiel's frown intensifies.

Sam looks up at him in horror.

"It seems like this revelation displeases you, I'm so-"

"No! What? Since when? I thought you hated me? Me being an abomination, the Boy King of Hell and everything," Sam's heartrate was doing funny things in his chest. What was happening. What-

“That conclusion is incorrect.”

Castiel exhales sharply. Not a sigh. Something closer to irritation.

“This is what I find annoying,” he says. “You are distressed. You are aroused. You are expending significant energy attempting to suppress both.”

Sam stares at him. “Cas, that’s not something you fix.”

“I disagree,” Castiel says. He steps closer. His voice stays even. “From my perspective, this is a physiological buildup causing you discomfort. Humans usually resolve it through sexual activity.”

Sam straightens immediately. “Whoa. No. Wait.”

Castiel stops in front of him anyway. Close enough that Sam has to tilt his head back to meet his eyes.

“You are not objecting because you do not want me,” Castiel says. “You are objecting because you believe wanting me makes you unclean.”

Sam swallows hard.

“I am an angel,” Castiel continues. “I am not offended by your desire. I am not harmed by it. I find your reaction inefficient.”

Sam lets out a shaky breath. “You make it sound like you’re seducing me to get it over with.”

“Yes,” Castiel says. “That is accurate.”

He leans down and kisses Sam.

Sam freezes for half a second. Then his hands come up automatically, gripping Castiel’s shirt like it is the only solid thing left. The kiss is firm, lacking hesitation. Castiel’s mouth is warm. His stubble scrapes Sam’s upper lip, grounding him.

Sam pulls back just enough to breathe. “Cas, this is not how people do this.”

“I am aware,” Castiel says. “But it is working.”

He kisses Sam again, deeper this time. Sam’s resistance unravels fast. His body leans into it, big and heavy and needy. Castiel’s hands slide down his sides, thumbs brushing skin under Sam’s shirt.

Sam groans before he can stop himself.

Castiel pauses. Studies his face. “See.”

Sam laughs weakly. “You are unbelievable.”

“Yes,” Castiel agrees.

He tugs Sam’s shirt up, waits only a moment before Sam lifts his arms. The shirt is discarded somewhere behind them. Castiel’s hands move over Sam’s chest with quiet fascination, fingers splaying over his muscle.

Sam reaches for Castiel in return. Shrugs him out of the ruined shirt. His palms rest against Castiel’s bare skin. He was about to pass out. It didn't feel real.

"Sam."

He carefully looks into Castiel's eyes.

“I always thought this meant something bad about me,” Sam admits softly.

Castiel cups his face, thumbs brushing Sam’s beard. “You are allowed to have human emotions, Sam.”

He kisses Sam again, slow and unhurried, and Sam melts into it. The tension coils tighter, hotter, but the shame is gone. Castiel is choosing him and Sam's brain is still not comprehending how this is even remotely possible.

Castiel presses their foreheads together. “We should continue,” he says.

Sam smiles, breathless. “Yeah. Okay.”

Elderly lady mail clerk and young customer are chatting. Customer says, "oh! I'm wearing my boss's coat right now, give me something weird to put in the pocket!" Others within earshot all start looking for something because, hey, important quest. Mail clerk finally reaches under counter, pulls out a large roll of labels, and tears one off.

Started rewatching Supernatural from the first season, and I absolutely understand why the first Wincest fanfic was written right after the first episode was aired.

And I'm not even talking about the obvious stuff like "Easy, tiger."

I'm talking about: The very first parallel in the show's history, where Dean and Sam are compared to a romantic couple Guy talking to his girlfriend when he sees the Woman in White - Sam talking to Dean when he sees the Woman in White

This scene where Sam says he's never been unfaithful, and the ghost tells him he will be. And the interesting thing is that at this point he's basically not fully faithful to Jessica anymore (because he already chose Dean over her), and he never was. Only Dean knows Sam completely, while Sam himself confirms that he was going to hide his life as a hunter from Jessica until the very end.

The scene with Dean saying he'll take Sam home when the entire episode was built on the concept of a ghost woman seducing unfaithful men and asking them to take her home, and they agree to it.

(As we know, Dean, like Sam, has subsequently always left all his love interests to be with Sam.)

And that crazy ending where Dean saves Sam from the fire, but that's not even the main thing about that scene. The fact that Dean basically stayed and was going to go back to Sam, even though they'd already said goodbye and decided to go their separate ways again. And the fact that Dean ran into the house so fast only means two things — Dean was close enough that he heard Sam scream and rushed inside, and if he was that close, that meant he was standing outside the door again, gathering his thoughts to go inside and talk to Sam, afraid that Sam wouldn't accept him.

This series is literally "The epic love story of Sam and Dean" and it was like that from the very beginning.
