Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq al-Badr:

Time is a precious treasure in this life, the most precious and the most valuable, it comes and doesn't return, a treasure persevered by the wise and the clever people from the children of Adam.

It is given a great concern so much that it is even considered to be more valuable than money, a home, food and drink. One of the salaf said about the companions

أدركت قوما هم أحرص على وقتهم منكم على دنانيركم

I reached a people who were more concerned about their time than you're with your dinarnir (money)

They were keen on persevering time because they knew it's value and worth

May Allah make us from those who value time and do not waste it. Aameen

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"No one remembers Allāh during difficulty except that Allāh makes it easy for him,

Nor during a time of hardship except that Allāh gives him ease,

Nor during a hard time except that He lightens it for him.”

[al-Wabil as-Sayyib]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

‎"Your soul is just like your enemy, ‎once it finds you serious, it obeys you.

If it finds weakness from you, it will take you as a prisoner."

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Faith consists of more than sixty branches (i.e. parts). And Haya (It covers a large number of concepts which are to be taken together; amongst them are self respect, modesty etc.) is a part of faith."

"Whoever wants to attain the love of Allāh, then let him [or her] be dedicated to the remembrance of Allāh."

When the Prophet صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ saw the crescent moon, he would say:

*اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ*

“O’ Allāh, permit it over us with blessings, faith, safety and Islām. My Lord and your Lord is Allāh.”

Al-Imām ibn al-Qayyim [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:

“Inside the heart are disorders, that cannot be cured except by drawing near to Allāh. There is a feeling of loneliness; feelings of exclusion, and of devastation, that cannot be removed except, by spiritual closeness with Allāh in solitude. There is a feeling of sadness, which will not leave, except in joyfulness, with knowing Him [by way of the Qur’ān and the Sunnah].”
