Him, your Prince Charming, your everything you could have ever wanted or asked for, your number one go to person, your romance, your thrill, your passion, and also, your ultimate heartbreak. Him. He is no longer what you thought him to be anymore. He is someone completely different, he's a stranger. You never thought this would happen, you never thought that you guys would break up, you thought your love was different. Well, unfortunately, it wasn't because he left. He made the decision to leave when life was no longer sunshine and roses, despite all of the trials and things you guys have faced together. You used to be the girl his face would light up to see, now you're just an average girl to him. He used to hold your hand, and now you can't remember the last time he did. He gets angry more, and it's directed especially at you. He has closed himself off in a way, but you can't put your finger of it. He has distanced himself from you, and no longer anticipates coming home to see you. He randomly decided one morning to tell you that he is breaking up with you after you guys had one of the most intimate nights together. He took what was left and left. Now you're here, two months later, still hurt, still having dreams about him, still seeing that random picture of you guys together at oh such the perfect time, still coming across an old card he gave you, still missing him, still thinking about him, but here's how things are different too.. You're now discovering yourself, you're now making people laugh along with them being to put a smile on your face, you're now able to find yourself talking about him less, you're now doing those things out of your comfort zone and that he thought were stupid, like getting spray tans, changing your hair, being social and going out on the town, going by a fast food drive thru at 4 in the morning because all you want are french fries, and being comfortable all alone while stuffing your face with Olive Garden and watching reruns of How I met your mother. You're also becoming stronger and braver by making crazy plans for the future that seem scary yet exciting at all the same, walking up to his front door alone and dropping all of his stuff off without looking back, putting him in a box when he starts to consume too much of your thoughts, relying on yourself when you feel wobbly, realizing what kind of girl he is missing out on, and you now falling in love with this girl and beginning to discover her again. You see that? Those two previous paragraphs? The first one is shorter, and the second is triple the size, why? Because there is more of you without him than there is more of you with him. Take pride in that, you're more and have more than what you think. He didn't make you spectacular, you did.
