LFLS: my ocs!!

I'm writting this au of my main ocs. it's called Like Father, Like Son.

It focuses on a group of young adults in the 90s-2000s breaking free from becoming their parents/ making the same mistakes as them!

It starts in the summer of 1999 where they leave their home town on a vaction-long road-trip, traveling town to town, camping out and just making the most of what might be their last summer together. Things progress as self discovery, lies and a year long secret is hidden from the rest of the friend group.

So far I have two character sheets, I swr. I'm gonna make the rest. I may update this post or make a new one, haven't decided yet.

Kenny/Ken

Ken's 19 year old college student who attends Wharton University! He WAS supposed to spend the summer attending summer sessions, as requested by his father, but managed to escape with his friends on their venture.

When he scans the car, he realizes there's an unfamiliar face. His friends sloppily introduced him to Jason, the newest addition to the friend group, and someone he would grow to dislike.

Ken couldn't help but feel like he was being replaced.. or was it something else? Whatever it could be, creates growing tension between the two.

Fun Fact: Kenny has albinism

Jason (English name)

Jason's a 20 year old who doesn't have a goal in life but to survive and thrive. Only recently moving to Montana with his dad to get some bad people off his and his father's back, whatever that means..

Like his Father, he's a world of trouble. Possibly worsening when he happens upon Ken. Who he believes may be hiding his true feelings. Jason does what Jason does, and interferes.

Fun Fact: Jason is trans

Stupid gay ocs meeting for the first time

Robert meets Flambae when he's only about 5 years or so into being Mecha Man. He's barely old enough to drink but, he's certainly earning his fame as a hero. It's also enough time for him to figure out he's firmly bisexual and decide to explore the club scene in LA. Especially now that they won't kick him out for being underage.

In one of the clubs, Robert meets a strikingly hot man, called Chad. He's got the build of a swimmer and eyes that glow like molten gold under the neon lights.

A smirk, a laugh, a dance, a grind.

Long story short, Chad ends up being Robert's first in many an experience, over a period of a few months. Robert falls in love. He starts taking more and more breaks from the suit to hang out with his lover, soon boyfriend.

And then a call comes through for a fire at a mall. He goes to answer and who does he see burning it down but his hot headed idiot of a partner? Robert doesn't think he's ever been this mad in his life.

"Chad!? Are you fucking kidding me? This is the family emergency?" Is not what Flambae expects to hear from Mecha Man as the hatch in the torse pops out to reveal a twink in a cowl and furious expression.
