Alice listened to the stranger with a raised eyebrow and leaned against the doorframe. Her head moved back when she accused her of getting off on the wrong foot, furrowing her eyebrows. Right then and there she wouldâve slammed the door in her face, but she wanted to get a word out before she did. âOh yeah, itâs my fault your idiotic brain told you it was a swell idea to go out running when thereâve been tornado warnings all over the place for the past week.â she retorted, pursing her lips. Suddenly an idea came to her mind. âIâll let you in⌠if you plead.â she grinned.
For a moment, Calla was just going to roll her eyes and do it -- but it wasnât in her nature. âO-kay. Well, since you so love to judge the decisions of people you donât know, it must be your lucky day, because Iâm about to make one more idiotic one. A little bad weather isnât enough to make me step foot in a house that probably doesnât even have room for me because it has to house that big head of yours. It was great meeting you!â With that, she pivoted and left the property, power-walking to the next house. No lights were on inside, but there was a car in the driveway and it was light enough outside that maybe they just didnât need any lights. She shouldâve listened to her intuition -- after a full minute of knocking, still no answer.
oh god royal aus
âyour countryâs trying to take over/annex my country and youâre making it difficult to hate you because youâre so nice and attractive stop itâ au
âweâve been engaged to be married since we were three but this is the first time weâve met and your portraits really donât do you justiceâ au
âiâm a prince/ss and youâre a servant and weâre not supposed to hang out but weâre gonna fall in love anywaysâ au
âiâm a prince/ss and youâre my bodyguard and weâre so not supposed to bang but we kind of did anywaysâ au (bonus: limo sex is great sex)
princess diaries style âi grew up not knowing i was royal and suddenly my royal grandparent showed up out of nowhere and told me i was so now i guess iâm the heir to the throne and youâre my crush from my pre-royal days but i still have a crush on youâ au
alternately, âi grew up not knowing i was royal and now i guess iâm heir to a throne and youâre the guy whoâs supposed to be teaching me how to be royal bc i suck at it and oops we made outâ au
âiâm a prince/ss from a small country nobodyâs heard of and iâm in college pretending not to be royal and youâre another student whoâs always calling me out on my bsâ au
âmy countryâs going through some issues so iâm here in hiding and youâre a civilian who lives in the same apartment complex as meâ au
âEither way, youâre still my knight in shining armor â my saving grace, literally. I honestly donât know what Iâd do if you hadnât agreed,â Belle explained. âI was kinda considering posting an advertisement on Craigslist, but Iâm not really in the business of being murdered by someone off the internet,â she shrugged playfully, the amusement clear on her face. As he continued to speak, she bursted out in laughter. âAn animal shelter? God, no way. Henry, you havenât met my parents, especially my mother. She would have a fit if I stepped into any kind of shelter, even an animal one.â Shaking her head, she started up again, âhow about something a bit more realistic? We met in English class, bonded over our mutual love for Shakespeare and hatred of Hemingway.â Her voice met a pause, before she waved her hand dismissively, âthen â yeah, all that other good stuff about being irresistible. Theyâll eat that part up, trust me. I havenât brought a guy home since they tried to fly us to Paris for our second date,â a embarrassed laugh escaped her. âBut who knows, maybe theyâll shoot for Italy this time.â
âDoes this mean I can forego the tux in favour of a suit of armor? No one can be unimpressed with a knight,â he said with a laugh. âWell, I promise I wonât murder you, as much as I love a good tragic ending.â He mulled over her proposal, quickly giving her an affirmative nod. âSo I have to pretend to hate Hemingway and puppies? Iâve never acted before. I auditioned for the school play in ninth grade, sort of, but halfway through I got nervous and forgot the rest and walked off the stage. If I pull this off, I swear Iâm becoming the next Hannah Montana. ...But you can totally trust me not to fuck this up, I promise.â Henry quirked an eyebrow and side-eyed Belle as she told her story. It was a little out there, for sure, but given what he knew about her he couldnât quite be surprised. âYou should subtly nudge them towards Belgium. Iâve always wanted to try a real life Belgian waffle.â
The son of the President of the United States goes off to college after begging that he be given a little freedom and be able to enjoy his school years without the Secret Service following his every move. The government finally agrees to let him go but secretly assigns a young agent to go undercover as a student so that someone can keep an eye on him. The presidents son and the secret agent fall in love, but thatâs all changed when the identity of the agent is revealed.
She chuckled at the mention of his singing love songs thinking about when he did sing thing, âAlthough I will admit I read one of those fan fictionsâŚ. didnât see the sex coming.â Leila replied with a smile on her lips only slightly joking, âIt was you and that dude,â She pointed to the guy forgetting his name momentarily, âThey betrayed you as a bad ass which is so untrue,â
Bryan followed Leilaâs finger, the sight before him eliciting an unsurprised eye-roll. âWhy is it always Daniel?â He shook his head at the thought, but he kind of got it -- they were spotted out together a lot. âHeâs basically my brother. The first time I stumbled across one, I thought I was going to have to claw my eyes out. But hey, at least that person got one thing right. I think the problem is youâre just so lame you canât even tell when someones a badass.â
Sorry I havenât been around for a while eep. I probably shouldâve gone on a hiatus. Iâve been hard at work on an RP Iâm starting, and Iâm pretty much done with the RP itself buuuut Iâm probably gonna take a semi-hiatus while I write bios.

Manipulative Characters in Roleplays
Iâve kind of always wanted to write this rant, so here we go:
You know when thereâs that character in the RP whose bio says that heâs supposed to be âmanipulativeâ and âslyâ and really good at reading people and clever and stuff?
Those characters are supposed to be brilliant puppet-masters, and theyâre supposed to be able to manipulate other characters. The admins wrote that character that way for a reason, and the person playing the character should have the liberty to use their character in a realistic way. So when youâre playing against a character like that, donât have your character guess the manipulative/secretive characterâs motives just because you want the âgood guysâ to win. Especially if youâre playing someone whoâs supposed to be easily manipulated.
let twinmills:
With her brother out at his friendâs house, their parents away, and the tornado coming, it was going to be a great weekend for Alice. The seclusion being one of the best parts. It was barely near the town, and she was already laughing at those who were losing their minds over the approaching  tornado. Laughing at her twisted sense of humor, she went downstairs to watch a movie. One of the reasons she wasnât worried herself was because she knew her house was grounded, and would be safe from any storm. Just as she was going to start the movie, Alice heard the rapid knocking on her door. Groaning loudly, she looked through the peephole to see a girl about her age, out of breath and looking worried. Nonetheless, she opened the door, a small scowl on her face. âWhat?â
Despite the severity of the situation, Calla couldnât help but make the time to be taken aback by the girlâs greeting. Luckily for her (or maybe unluckily -- she would have to see), when it came to fight or flight she almost always went for fight. âOkay, clearly we got off on the wrong foot. Iâm not saying itâs your fault, but yeah, itâs pretty much your fault. Iâm willing to look past the not-so-warm welcome if you let me in for a few minutes so I donât get picked up and taken to fucking Oz.â So maybe between the stressful day and sense of impending doom, she was being just a tad bitchier than usual. Not like she was going to take it back.

She nodded, thoughtful. âDid you have a reason, or did you just do it? Sorry if Iâm prying. I tried to off myself, but Iâve never tried to kill someone else. Donât think I could do it, honestly. But they didnât put me in here until my brother found me wandering Central Park in my underwear shouting at random people and things. In my defense, it was rather hot that night.â
âDonât worry about it. Yeah, I had a reason. Iâd do it again ten times over if I had to. âCourse, donât tell them I said that.â Skylar couldnât help but laugh at the girlâs story, though he knew it wasnât funny -- something about the way she told it just made it seem so innocent. âItâs unfair for people to expect everyone to stay clothed when itâs hot, if you ask me. Shouting at things, though... I mean, if it helps, I think Iâve yelled at my computer before.â

Max: ...
Max: Yeah, you're right. Forever's never meant much.
Max: So, see you tomorrow?
Holden: Not everything has a double meaning, Max.
Holden: When should I come for you?
Holden: (Alright, that might've, though.)
âGo ahead and judge away. Iâm used to hearing just about every rude or mean comment about what I do.â He said seriously, only to laugh when he saw her smile. âIâve seen spirits ever since I was a kid. I remember waking up in the middle of the night to this old lady at the foot of my bed. It scared the shit out of me, and I kept telling myself she wasnât real. When it didnât stop, I wondered why she was there and looked into the history of my house. After that I wanted to see where else this kind of stuff was happening. I only started doing video and auto a few years back. I can show you some clips if you want? It\s definitely not about the money, Iâve grown to love this job.âÂ
âI wouldnât be mean! Thatâs like being mean to a pastor. I donât have to believe in what youâre doing to appreciate that itâs helping people.â Sloane sobered up as Isaac talked about his childhood, trying to conceal just how ridiculous it all sounded to her. She didnât want to dismiss what he was saying, but hey, she was raised by skeptics, and she was a tough egg to crack. âOkay, creepy. But how do you know it wasnât night terrors or something? My brother gets âem, he said itâs always the same thing.â When he offered to show his clips, she shrugged -- it probably wouldnât help, but it couldnât hurt, either, and she did love horror movies. âAlright. Letâs see what ya got, Ghost Boy.â
